Sydney forward Chloe Molloy produced a masterclass on Saturday, booting seven goals to equal the all-time AFLW record for most goals in a single match.
The 25-year-old tore Gold Coast apart at People First Stadium as the Swans stormed to a record-breaking 15.13 (103) to 3.3 (21) victory, the club’s first-ever 100-point game and their biggest winning margin.
A record-breaking victory.

Reaching the 100-point mark for the first time in our history. Our biggest winning margin. Chloe Molloy equalling the all-time AFLW record for most goals in a match. #CheerThis pic.twitter.com/NjEoY3W7JH
Fresh off a four-goal haul against Richmond in round one, Molloy was unstoppable. She had five goals to her name before half-time, proving too strong in the air and too sharp at ground level.
The performance matched the benchmark set by Brooke Lochland in 2018, now an assistant coach at Sydney.
Dominance across the board
Molloy’s brilliance was backed by a complete team effort.

Laura Gardiner racked up 39 disposals, setting the tone with a staggering 15 touches and a goal in the opening term. Rising star Zippy Fish looked every bit a future great, collecting 26 disposals at 85 per cent efficiency and intercepting everything in her path. Former No.1 draft pick Montana Ham also shone, tallying 27 possessions and chipping in with two goals.
Teenager Amelia Martin added a fairytale touch, kicking a goal on debut to spark celebrations from her teammates.
By the final siren, Sydney had written themselves into AFLW history, with Molloy the headline act in a display that left the Suns chasing shadows.
