Next Thursday night at the Adelaide Oval is set to be the biggest game of the year.
It will feature the only two teams to have occupied first place on the ladder since round six of this season, and tickets were as rare as a hen's tooth.
Tickets were scheduled to be released to club members at 10am on Thursday morning, with the general public to follow from 3pm.
But the general public never got a chance.

Adelaide and Collingwood members secured all available tickets within a matter of hours, as fans queued up for hours in the pouring rain in Adelaide, whilst other fans made a mad dash to secure tickets online.
The rivalry between the Crows and the Magpies has been fierce in recent years, with the last six matchups being decided by 10 points or less.
Just a couple weeks ago, the two sides faced off at Adelaide Oval to a crowd of 54,238 roaring supporters who witnessed the Crows cement a minor premiership with their win.
That crowd was the largest AFL crowd in Adelaide Oval history, beating the previous record of 53,817, set in the 2017 preliminary final between Adelaide and Geelong.

With all things permitting, the first Qualifying final of 2025 should be the biggest crowd Adelaide Oval has ever seen.
A full house at Adelaide Oval is a formidable obstacle for any visiting side, with the Crows hosting an impressive 12-1 record at home this season.
Should further tickets become available for the general public, they will be released via Ticketek at a later, unconfirmed date.
