Melbourne Demons teammates Jack Viney and Tom McDonald were involved in a training session bust-up at Gosch’s Paddock on Tuesday.

The pair pushed, shoved and exchanged verbals after a dumping challenge from Viney in an earlier drill set the tall defender off.
The scuffle had to be forcibly broken up by teammates, but the session progressed without any further altercation.
Incidents of this kind are commonplace in AFL pre-seasons, as the competition for roster spots heats up.
The Demons are hoping to build on last season's 13th place finish in 2016, and training competitiveness is a positive sign of the players' intent.
