Fremantle are set to face off against the Brisbane Lions in Round 2 of the 2025 Australian Football League Women's (AFLW) season on Saturday evening at Fremantle Community Bank Oval.

Fremantle finished the 2024 home-and-away season with eight victories and just three defeats. They defeated Essendon handily in the Elimination Final, but they lost to the Crows in the Semi-Final, ending their chances of capturing the Major Premiership before the deadline. They started their 2025 campaign with a promising 46-24 win against Port Adelaide last week.

At the completion of the 2024 home-and-away season, the Lions finished third on the AFLW ladder, capping an incredible campaign. After defeating the Hawks and the Adelaide Crows, they advanced to the Grand Final but ultimately fell short against the Kangaroos. However, their 2025 campaign has not gotten off to the best start as they lost 29-33 to the Hawks at home.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times, and the latest lineup news.
