In Round 2 of the 2025 Australian Football League Women's (AFLW) season, the Hawthorn Hawks will take on Carlton on Saturday night at Frankston's Kinetic Stadium.

The Hawks had a wonderful 2024 campaign as they finished second on the AFLW ladder at the end of the home-and-away season. However, they had a somewhat disastrous run in the Finals series, as they lost their Qualifying Final and also their semi-final against Port Adelaide.

Carlton's 2024 home-and-away season was incredibly challenging and inconsistent, as they missed out on finishing in the Top Eight and making the Finals Series. They finished 14th on the AFLW ladder at the end of the season with just four wins and seven losses. Nevertheless, they crushed Collingwood 45–21 at IKON Park, marking a fantastic start to their 2025 campaign.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times, and the latest lineup news.
