Australia's Jai Opetaia (27-0) puts his IBF and The Ring cruiserweight titles on the line against Claudio Squeo (17-0) on the Gold Coast on Sunday, June 8.

It's not the unification fight Opetaia has been calling for but it's another opportunity for his home fans to catch the destructive southpaw, and the country's only current male world champion, in action.

When is Jai Opetaia vs. Claudio Squeo?

The pair are due to meet at Gold Coast Convention Centre on Sunday, June 8.

Action is due to begin from 4:30pm AEST, with Opetaia and Squeo expected in the ring for the main event some time after 10pm, depending on the length of earlier bouts.

Both men should come in good shape, with Opetaia's last fight coming in January and Squeo most recently in action in October.
