Hot off yet another big game try double, Brian ‘Bizza’ To’o has moved into second on the all-time NRL finals try scorer list.
In 28 seasons, only legendary Storm fullback Billy Slater has scored more post-season tries that To’o, leaving one of Slater’s former rep teammates in no doubt about the status of the Panthers number five.
“Brian To’o is the best winger I have ever seen,” Corey Parker declared without hesitation on SEN radio on Monday morning.
“He has never missed in a big game—State of Origin, four-time premiership player and once again yesterday, he just continually does his role.”

Speaking about the two-time Brad Fittler medalist for NSW Origin player of the year (2023, 2025), Parker pointed to the most extraordinary thing about To’o’s record—his relatively small size in an era of towering wingers and pinpoint aerial attacks.
“For a guy that gives away a fair bit of height to the likes of Xavier Coates and Mark Nawaqanitawase, he just continually finds a way to get the job done,” Parker enthused.
‘Can Penrith back it up?’
As for the 27-year-old’s chances of once again getting the job done in next Sunday’s preliminary final?
Parker acknowledged if To’o and the Panthers play the way they did in the first half against the Bulldogs, it will be extremely difficult for Brisbane to beat them, before offering a glimmer of hope to his former club.
“Can they (Penrith) back it up?” Parker asked.
“Can they put in two of those performances in a row, because they’re going to have to if they want to progress through to the grand final?”
Brisbane hosts To’o and the Panthers at 4.05pm at Suncorp Stadium next Sunday.
