Brisbane Broncos chief executive Dave Donaghy has urged supporters to flood Suncorp Stadium as the club’s NRL and NRLW teams line up in a preliminary final double-header on Sunday, 28 September.
The women’s side will kick off at 1:15 pm against the winner of Saturday’s Knights–Titans clash, before the men follow at 4:05 pm against either Canterbury-Bankstown or Penrith.

Donaghy said the occasion was a chance to build on a record-breaking year at Suncorp, where the Broncos set a new benchmark for average crowds.

“Our members and fans have been by our side all season, but the quality of football goes to a new level in finals, and both the NRL and NRLW teams will need the support of the Bronx Nation next Sunday,” Donaghy said.
“This season, a new record for the biggest average crowd at Suncorp Stadium has been set, and this double-header is another opportunity for our members and fans to come together one more time at home. We want to create an atmosphere that both of our teams can draw energy from, and we can’t wait to have a sea of maroon and gold in the stands.”
