The Brisbane Broncos have officially confirmed that Billy Walters suffered damage to his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) during Sunday afternoon’s Qualifying Final win over the Raiders.
Scans conducted at the Clive Berghofer Centre’s Qscan Facility have verified the extent of the injury.
In a statement made by the club, Walters will now work closely with the Club’s medical team to determine the next steps in his recovery.
In other injury news, star forward Payne Haas has been cleared of any serious issues, while Brendan Piakura is set to undergo scans on a facial injury on Tuesday morning.

The Broncos continue to monitor their squad closely as they prepare for their prelim match next week, where they will host the winner of the Bulldogs and Panthers semi-final that takes place this coming week.
