Cronulla have hit form at exactly the right time as they have now won five matches in a row.

After finishing the regular season with three victories, the Sharks backed this up with a win over the Sydney Roosters in their elimination final before knocking off Canberra in the nation's capital.

Craig Fitzgibbon's side will now head down to Melbourne to take on the Storm for a place in the decider.

Sharks latest team news:

Craig Fitzgibbon hasn't tinkered too much with a winning side after Cronulla romped to victory over the Raiders in the nation's capital to advance through to the prelims.

However, he has made one enforced change after Tom Hazelton suffered a concussion during the win. The big prop was a late addition on the bench in the place of Oregon Kaufusi, who has been brought back into the 17.

Toby Rudolf copped a charge for a high tackle on Joe Tapine, but he will be free to take his place up front after only being issued with a monetary fine for the illegal shot.

Billy Burns was also cited for dangerous contact in the match, although the backrower avoided a suspension. He starts ahead of Briton Nikora once again in a major show of faith from his coach.
