Melbourne Storm playmaker Jonah Pezet has quickly become one of the hottest tickets in the NRL player market, with the Titans reportedly being the latest team to join the race for his services.
The Sydney Morning Herald revealed that the 22-year-old halfback has become a player of particular interest for powerbrokers on the Gold Coast as they look to rebuild in the Josh Hannay era.
When Jahrome Hughes re-signed with the Storm earlier this year, a clause in Pezet's contract was activated - stipulating that he could explore his options.

Now, Melbourne are fielding offers from rival clubs who would be able to provide Pezet with the opportunity of playing regular first grade in 2026.
The intention is to allow him to continue his development in the NRL, similar to the path taken by Harry Grant, when he spent a season playing for the Wests Tigers.
This report comes just days after news broke that the Rabbitohs had knocked back a loan offer for Pezet, presented by the Storm, choosing to prioritise the development of the young halves already on their roster.
After Pezet starred for the Storm in their qualifying final victory over the Bulldogs this past weekend, he told the NRL 360 panel that he's braced for whatever 2026 has to offer.
"I’ve always had full confidence in myself as an NRL halfback," Pezet said.
"I’m focused on the finals series for us, but I am an open book at the moment to any sort of loan deals or whatever that might be [for 2026].
"But as the man in the studio [Pezet's manager Braith Anasta] would know, that’s his job - my job is to play good footy and to give him the most amount of options that we can look forward to."
The Gold Coast will be looking for an answer in the halves after veteran Kieran Foran decided to hang up his boots at the conclusion of their 2025 campaign.
Jayden Campbell was outstanding at halfback, however, Pezet offers a more traditional game-managing skillset that would allow the 25-year-old to drop back to five-eighth or potentially even fullback.
The Storm will host the winner of the Raiders and Sharks clash on Saturday night in a preliminary final.
If Melbourne's star halfback Hughes is still recovering from his fractured forearm for that encounter, Pezet will get yet another opportunity to add to his resume as one of the game's elite young players.
