The 2025 NRL regular season has played out, with Canberra claiming the minor premiership after a stellar year.

Melbourne and Canterbury finished in the top-four, while Brisbane also earned a double chance in the finals during the last round of the season thanks to a win over the Storm.

Cronulla, New Zealand, Penrith and the Sydney Roosters made up the rest of the top-eight.

The Dolphins and Manly narrowly missed out on the finals, with the Phins' wait for finals footy stretching on.

Parramatta finished strongly after a dire start to life under rookie coach Jason Ryles, while North Queensland and the Wests Tigers will be hoping for improved showings next campaign.

South Sydney and St George Illawarra sank into the bottom four as both clubs experienced heavy injury tolls, while a battle between the Gold Coast and Newcastle to avoid picking up the wooden spoon played out in Round 27.
