It's the last round of the regular season, with the finals now right around the corner.

Canberra wrapped up the minor premiership last week and have chosen to rest a host of their key men, while Penrith will welcome the majority of their stars back after Ivan Cleary's decision to rest everyone in Round 26.

Meanwhile, at the opposite end of the ladder, the Gold Coast and Newcastle will be out to avoid the dreaded wooden spoon.

Canberra claimed the minor premiership last week and Ricky Stuart admitted immediately afterwards that he would look to freshen up his stars ahead of their finals campaign.
