The 2025 NRL season is nearing its conclusion, but attention will briefly turn to off-field matters for the biggest awards night on the rugby league calendar.
On the eve of the grand final, the 2025 Dally M Medal will be awarded to the game's best player.
Jahrome Hughes is the reigning champion after the Melbourne Storm halfback stormed to the accolade last year and he will be on hand to crown the new winner on the NRL's night of nights.

When is the Dally M Medal ceremony?
The 2025 NRL Dally M Medal ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 1 and will, as always, act as an appetiser for the NRL Grand Final weekend.
With last year's event beginning at 6:00 p.m. (AEST), fans can expect this year's festivities to start at a similar time, with the Dally M Medallist announced just after 9:30 p.m.
Who will win the 2025 Dally M Medal?
When Dally M voting went behind closed doors in late May, New Zealand halfback Luke Metcalf led all voters, with Will Kennedy and James Tedesco close behind.
However, with Metcalf suffering a season-ending ACL injury soon after, it looks to be Tedesco's race to lose after the Sydney Roosters captain enjoyed a stellar second half of the campaign.
