Following the reports of low ticket sales, former Pakistan bowler and legend Shoaib Akhtar has reacted to the issue, speaking on the high emotions from both sides and ridiculed the low ticket sales.

In conversation with Tapmad, Akhtar emphasized the fan sentiment after the recent friction between the nations and thinks the tickets are sold out, irrespective of what reports suggest.
"Emotions are running very high. Now we [Pakistan] are meeting India for the first time post-war. Think about it — it cannot not be houseful. Someone said to me that the tickets are unsold. I said, 'What are you saying?' Everything is sold; these are all the external talks," he said.

Recently, India Champions had forfeited two matches against Pakistan in the World Championship of Legends, which included the semi-final as well.
However, BCCI was not involved in the decision-making process for the tournament, making it an unrelated issue.
