Curling season is in full swing, and the first major in the Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling has underway in North Bay, Ont. with the conclusion of the 2022 Boost National. 

Brad Gushue and Silvana Tirinzoni are the two winners from this past weekend's brier. Gushue's team defended their title on the men's side, taking down Niklas Edin and his Swedish team. It's the 14th Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling men’s title and 11th major for Gushue,

On the women's side, Tirinzoni and her Swiss team defeated Canadian Kerri Einarson in the finals. It was the third time in her career that she has a Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling title and first time she has won a major.

When is the 2022 Boost National?

This tournament began on Wednesday, Sept. 21, with the finals set to take place on Sunday, Sept. 25. 

The Sweep 16 will run for the first two days, followed by the Elite 8 on Friday, Sept. 23, the Final Four on Saturday, Sept. 24 and the finals on Sunday, Sept. 25. 

What channel is the 2022 Boost National?

The 2022 Boost National will be on Sportsnet for the entire tournament.

Where is the 2022 Boost National taking place?

The tournament is hosted in North Bay, Ont. at the North bay memorial Gardens. It is the first time the city has hosted the event, while it is the first time since 2017 the tournament is being held in Ontario.
