Penn State's Liam Matthews scored two of the smoothest lacrosse goals you'll ever see during the Nittany Lions' national semifinal matchup with Cornell.
He didn't waste time, either. Right off the bat, Matthews opened the scoring with an over-the-shoulder, behind-the-back masterpiece.

Turns out, that was just the appetizer.
In the second half, Matthews one-upped himself.
Not only did he go behind-the-back. He took a bounce shot with the BTB motion. And because Matthews was dialed in, he bounced it perfectly into the roof of the net.

The best part of lacrosse behind-the-back shots is that they're usually very necessary.
The lefty-shooting Matthews found himself over-running the goal a little bit. But because guys practice these behind-the-back shots, they're a late option in scenarios like these.
Matthews showed lacrosse players everywhere exactly how they're meant to be done.
