MLB fans will be treated to another intense action from the NL West field, as the Dodgers arrive at Petco Park to play a three-game series against the San Diego Padres. Both teams are coming off mixed results in their last four-game series. The Dodgers won two out of four games against the Colorado Rockies, while the Padres won the last three games of their series against the San Francisco Giants.
Game 1 of the series will be played on Friday, with first pitch scheduled at 9:40 pm ET. SDPA and SportsNet LA will bring the action to the fans.

Dodgers vs Padres Game 1: Expected starting lineups
Blake Snell, who has been excellent in his return from an injured list stint, will take the mound for the Dodgers. He holds a 3-1 record and has posted a 1.80 ERA. Meanwhile, the Padres will have their own ace in Yu Darvish up on the mound. The Japanese pitcher is having a bad season with his ERA number just below 6.00.
Both the Dodgers and the Padres receive warm additions to their starting lineup. Shohei Ohtani and Jackson Merrill both missed Thursday's game but are slated to return for this high voltage matchup.
