The San Francisco Giants left-hander refused to give up the baseball against his former team, the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Ray went the distance, 9.0 innings, a complete game victory.
He allowed three hits and two runs while walking one.
The big southpaw struck out seven, and he finished the game off in 102 pitches.
It was Ray's first complete game since 2017.

Yep, the Diamondbacks. That was against the Pirates, a 3-0 win.
This time, the Giants' offense got going early to propel San Francisco to a 7-2 win.
Ray improved to 9-3 on the season, and his ERA is down to 2.68.
