The Los Angeles Lakers made some major improvements to their roster this offseason, solidifying themselves as a contender.
Luka Dončić and LeBron James will lead the way, while the rest of the squad supports them in any way they can.
One guy who can be considered an in-betweener hasn’t quite figured out what his role will be.
Luckily, Jovan Buha, Lakers Reporter, offered some insight on what his role will be this upcoming season.
“Austin (Reaves) is clearly the third-best player on this team, the third most talented and skilled player on this team,” Buha said Friday.
“(Reaves) was a big part of the Lakers' success last season. He stepped up in a big way whenever Anthony Davis, LeBron, or Luka was out as the number two guy.”

Last season, Austin Reaves was a bona fide starter, and there was no question as to what the Lakers were asking him to do.
Now with Jarred Vanderbilt, Marcus Smart, and other players searching for minutes, his job for this team became a little eerie.
In 34.9 minutes per game last season, Reaves was a 20-point per game scorer and added 5.8 assists per game.
Reaves is the perfect player to punish defenses that may be scrambled, attacking gaps, and finding cutters at any given moment.
At six-foot-five, Reaves can play basically any position one through three, offering versatile lineups for the new look Lake Show.
His future with the team was up in the air for a bit, but Reaves should certainly be a starter for this team when the season begins.
