The Minnesota Timberwolves have added a pair of players to their roster before training camp.
One of them hails from Belfast, Ireland.
That's CJ Fulton, a 6-foot-3 point guard.
Fulton played his college basketball between Lafayette College and Charleston University. He put up 7.3 points (37.1% 3FG) and 4.7 assists per game in his college career while nabbing 1.5 steals per game.
The Ireland native played in two games for the Timberwolves in 2025 Summer League, putting up two points, two assists, two steals and one rebound.
The Timberwolves also signed 6-foot-7 forward Nate Santos for training camp.
Santos played in college for Pitt and then Dayton.
In his college career, Santos averaged 8.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
He's originally from Geneva, Illinois.
Santos played four games for the Orlando Magic in the most recent Summer League, putting up five points, six rebounds and three steals in total.
The Timberwolves didn't specify the contract terms in their announcement. The most likely deals ahead of training camp like this are Exhibit 10 contracts, which incentivize the players to wind up with the same organization's G League team.
Fulton and Santos both bring a ton of college experience, more than 100 games apiece, which gives Minnesota two players with solid basketball brains to be useful at camp and potentially beyond.
