While Bill Belichick's relationship doesn't have any impact on what others do at UNC, it's something that's certainly affected the university and football program.
Even if Belichick doesn't mean to bring his team into this situation with Jordon Hudson, all of the spotlight the two have faced certainly brings some sort of dynamic, no matter how they want to spin it.
However, when speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Belichick made sure to note that this is a personal relationship, and she has nothing to do with UNC football.
"Really off to the side," Belichick said during a SportsCenter interview from the ACC spring meetings on Tuesday. "It's a personal relationship, and she doesn't have anything to do with football."

When speaking with ESPN, Belichick, who doesn't use social media much, noted that his personal life has been in the spotlight a bit more in recent months.
Whether it's due to Hudson, him taking a job at the college level, or anything else, it's tough to ignore. However, he told his players he wanted the best out of them and to give them everything he had on the field. Everything he does with Hudson is his personal decision, and that's not why his players are there.
"I talked to the players when we meet with them," Belichick said. "We want to make the players the best they can be and giving them the best opportunity on and off the field."
It'll be interesting to see how this continues to play out. Not only has he proven to be an elite NFL coach, but this is a completely different situation for Belichick, in more ways than one.
