Indiana Jones leads college football's best names of 2025 season image

Every year there is always a college football player who makes a name for themselves. While there are others who are born with ones that are legendary.

With the help of some keyboard warriors and internet sleuths, there's a player with the greatest name and possibly in the GOAT conversation (Shoutout to Soysauce Sports for the well-placed reference). None other than Indiana Jones.

The 5-foot-8, 190-pound freshman from the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears looks to make an impact in the NAIA. Jones, a native of  Bellevue, Washington, excelled at Kennedy Catholic HS. The no-star talent chose RMC over Montana Tech with the Bears sliding in a late offer. He was also a multi-position player at receiver, running back, and linebacker. Not to mention, Jones picked up playing lacrosse during his time outside of Seattle.

Outside of Jones, here are a few entertaining and amusing names of college football players this year. Some of these seem like the auto-creation from EA Sports, but they're very real.
