The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants played an absolutely epic game on Sunday as part of NFL's Week 2.

It has a chance at an unexciting ending.

Russell Wilson threw a bomb to Malik Nabers to take a lead late in regulation for the Giants.

But then the Cowboys sent it to overtime with a 64-yard field goal at the buzzer from Brandon Aubrey.

At 37-37, it seemed likely that at least one team would score in OT.

But what if they didn't?

What happens if Cowboys vs. Giants ends OT tied?

If the Cowboys and Giants are tied after 10 minutes of overtime, the game ends in a tie.

After both teams lost in Week 1, they'd both have record of 0-1-1, with the tie being the third column in the record.

Overtime ties aren't common, but they do happen.

They can't happen in the postseason, obviously, as one team has to advance.

But in the NFL regular season, the league allows ties to happen rather than forcing the athletes to play this extremely physical sport for longer than needed.
