The Kansas City Chiefs are in a tough spot.
A week after losing star wide receiver Xavier Worthy just three plays into a season-opening loss, it doesn't seem like they'll have him for a Week 2 Super Bowl rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a shoulder injury.
Worthy is being officially listed as doubtful on the Chiefs' final injury report of the week. Head coach Andy Reid termed Worthy's odds of playing as "slim."
It's a rough start to the second NFL season for this speedy WR.

Worthy put together a strong rookie season in 2024.
He finished with 59 catches for 638 yards (10.8 yards per reception) and six touchdowns.
Worthy also ran 20 times for 104 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 5.2 yards per rushing attempt and 6.1 rushing yards per game in addition to his receiving duties.
In the season opener in Brazil, though, Worthy collided with Travis Kelce on the Chiefs' third offensive snap.
It resulted in a dislocated right shoulder for Worthy.
He was questionable to return before being officially ruled out of a game the Chiefs went on to lose, 27-21.

Kansas City wants to avoid an 0-2 start and has to overcome a formidable Eagles team to do so, and it'll probably be without Worthy.
In Week 1, Hollywood Brown had 10 catches and JuJu Smith-Schuster had five. Tyquan Thornton also got more snaps than he would've if Worthy stayed healthy.
Kansas City will need those guys to step up again to hang with the Eagles.
