The Los Angeles Rams were on the verge of a Super Bowl berth this past season. They were mere plays away from defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round. Had they advanced to the NFC Championship Game, considering how Philadelphia dismantled the Washington Commanders, it's likely that they would have advanced to the Super Bowl.
The Rams have upgraded their roster this offseason, specifically on the offensive side of the ball. They signed future Hall of Fame wide receiver Davante Adams to put opposite Puka Nacua in the passing game.
In his yearly projections for ESPN, Mike Clay sees big results coming for the new duo in Hollywood. Clay projects that Nacua will continue the tremendous start to his career with 99 catches for just over 1,300 yards and six touchdowns. In terms of Adams, Clay projects 83 catches for 1,130 yards and nine scores.
Should the duo be this dominant, it's hard to think they won't win the NFC West once again and be in the Super Bowl bubble in 2025 with a chance to win their second championship of the Sean McVay-Matthew Stafford era.
