Rams legend Aaron Donald plays surprise role in future of his franchise image

Aaron Donald left an outsized legacy with the Los Angeles Rams.

And now, he's trying to pay it forward.

Donald recently worked out with Rams rising star defensive end Jared Verse, which we learned about through a hilarious social media post from Verse.

Verse had previously called Donald's gym action "old man workouts," but he got the real picture this week.

That's an incredible photo between a Rams legend and a current Rams star.

Donald has been posting workout videos on his social media since he retired, and it certainly looks like he could still terrorize some NFL offensive lines if he wanted to.

That's Verse's job now, though.

Verse was the 19th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He began his college career at Albany before starring at Florida State.

He made the Pro Bowl as a rookie. He had 4.5 sacks, 66 tackles, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

His NFL journey is just beginning, and it's awesome to see that the historically dominant defensive tackle Donald wants to help Verse out (while maybe showing him that he's still got it, too).
