Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are set for one final preseason tune-up against the Bears on Friday evening.
Mahomes played just three snaps in Kansas City's preseason opener, and he sat out last weekend's contest, handing the keys to the offense to journeyman Gardner Minshew. Head coach Andy Reid clarified earlier this week that Mahomes and the rest of the starters will suit up on Friday.
On the other sideline, the Bears will follow the same script, with second-year pro Caleb Williams set for his second appearance of the preseason. Last year's No. 1 overall pick threw for 107 yards and a touchdown last weekend against the Bills.
