Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has always been an under-the-radar trash talker, and linebacker Nick Herbig revealed what the veteran quarterback says to get under his skin.

During a recent appearance on the Not Just Football podcast with Cam Heyward, Herbig said that Rodgers calls him a one-trick pony.

"He [Rodgers] calls me a one trick pony," Herbig said. "He's like 'Herb, all you do is speed rush,'"

Rodgers also chimed in on calling Herbig a one-trick pony.

"When I said that to him, I saw it got under his skin," Rodgers said.

Herbig is a valuable asset on special teams and is also a solid rotational pass rusher, so he's a pretty important part of Mike Tomlin's squad. However, that didn't stop Rodgers from talking trash to him and letting him know what he thinks.

Rodgers signed a one-year deal with Pittsburgh this offseason, while Herbig is entering his third year with the team after being a fourth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Steelers wrapped up the preseason last night, defeating the Carolina Panthers by a score of 19-10.  The team will now turn their attention to cut-down day on Tuesday and a Week 1 matchup versus the New York Jets on September 7.
