The Lightning had their backs against the wall heading into Game 3 — it was a must-win situation and the defending champions responded with a 6-2 victory to get back in the series. 

A pivotal Game 4 looms large now that the Lightning have got on the board, but they're still not out of the deep waters yet. A loss on Wednesday could see Tampa facing elimination on the road in Game 5, but a win could put the pressure on the Avalanche to hold serve on their home ice.
