Mark J. Rebilas, Troy Taormina

It's football season in Arizona. The Cardinals open their 2025 home stand in Week 2 of the season when they host the Panthers.

The last time the two faced off was 2022, and Arizona earned a 26-16 win over Carolina after six straight losses to its NFC foe.

Both teams need a strong start to the 2025 season as they both finished third in their respective divisions last year. The Cardinals finished 8-9, making their third straight playoff miss. Regardless, it was a big improvement in Jonathan Gannon's second year at the helm. Plus, Marvin Harrison Jr. is ready for an even bigger performance after recording 885 receiving yards last year.

The Panthers, on the other hand, finished 5-12 in 2024. It was Dave Canales's first showing as head coach, and while not perfect, there were some bright spots. But can he do what every Carolina fan is dreaming of and bring Bryce Young to award-winning status once again?
