West Ham vs. Chelsea prediction, lineups, odds and betting tips for Premier League clash image

The 2025/26 Premier League got underway last weekend and there were some really surprising results, with some teams producing performances that suggested a difficult season ahead.

West Ham United were one of those sides as the Irons, coming into the season with already low expectations, were beaten 3-0 by newly promoted Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, delivering a woeful second-half performance.

Chelsea head across the capital city and to the London Stadium on the back of a frustrating goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace after a very short pre-season due to their exploits in the United States, where they won the FIFA Club World Cup.

This London derby features two teams who could do with a result to build momentum and The Sporting News brings you a preview and prediction of the clash.

Chelsea may not be at their fluent best but they are still expected to win, priced at 1.67 by Parimatch, while West Ham are at 4.75 and the draw is 3.80.
