The India Test team, coached by Gautam Gambhir, is all set to travel to England for the five-match Test series that starts from June 20 in Leeds.
India will also play two tour games, with the India A side taking on England Lions ahead of the series to get familiar with the conditions and test out some players who are on the brink of making it to the first 15 for the series.

After the retirements of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, the eyes will be on the likes of Sai Sudharsan and Karun Nair, who are rumored to be named in the squads for the preparatory games.

When will Indian players and staff reach England for the Test series?
The Indian camp will start travelling to England in batches, starting from May 25 where India A squad players, who are out of the IPL playoff race or not part of the league at all, will board their flight, with the remainder of the squad joining when they are available.

Other players, alongside coach Gambhir, will leave for the UK following their IPL commitments on June 6.
"The players who get free from the IPL during the league stage are likely to leave with coach Gambhir on June 6. The rest will leave after a short break post the IPL 2025 commitments," said a BCCI official.
When will the India squad for the England series be announced?
The chief selector, Ajit Agarkar and his team were expected to announce the India A squad earlier this week, however, the change in the IPL schedule has delayed the announcement.
The Indian squad will also be announced in due time before the Indian Premier League ends.
