India face Bangladesh in the second match of their Asia Cup 2025 Super Four stage on Wednesday, September 24, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

The Men in Blue will aim to maintain their 100 per cent record in the tournament and head to the final. India kicked off their campaign with a nine-wicket win over UAE in their tournament opener and then topped it with a seven-wicket thumping victory against arch-rivals Pakistan.

They then beat Oman in their final group game and once again thrashed their arch-rivals in their first match of the second round.

India vs Bangladesh, Asia Cup 2025: Live score updates

That’s all from us for today! India become the first finalists of Asia Cup 2025, and we’ll see you next when they take on Sri Lanka in their final Super Four clash- a dead rubber,

11:35 pm: End of the match: India cruise into the final with a dominant 41-run win, led by a blazing start from Abhishek Sharma. Despite Saif Hassan’s lone fight, Bangladesh faltered as India sealed their spot with authority in the Asia Cup 2025 final.

11:05 pm: End of 16 Overs- Bangladesh 112/6: India tighten the grip in the match. Suryakumar Yadav’s direct-hit removed the skipper, while Chakaravarthy struck again to dismiss Saifuddin. Bangladesh’s chase is faltering under pressure. India’s fielding was sloppy though, dropping Saif thrice.

10:50 pm: End of 12 Overs- Bangladesh 85/4: India wrestled back control in the middle overs with tight spin bowling and regular strikes. Kuldeep removed Emon, Axar and Chakaravarthy chipped in, and though Saif Hassan found a few boundaries, Bangladesh lost three key wickets and the required rate kept climbing.

10:25 pm: End of Powerplay- Bangladesh 44/1 : Bangladesh recover steadily after an early blow from Bumrah, who removed Tanzid in the second over. Parvez Emon and Saif Hassan played a few crisp shots to keep the scoreboard ticking, but India kept things relatively tight with disciplined bowling.

9:42 pm: India finish on 168/6 after 20 overs, undone by a middle-overs slowdown despite a blazing start in the powerplay. A sharp spell from Rishad Hossain and disciplined bowling from Bangladesh restricted India, with only Hardik Pandya offering some resistance at the death.

9:20 pm: India is at 135 for 5 after 16 overs. Bangladesh have bowled with discipline during last few overs. With just 21 runs scored and 1 wicket lost between overs 13 and 16, Bangladesh have done well to tighten the screws.

8:58 pm: Big blow for India as Abhishek Sharma departs for 75 runs after getting run out. India 112/3 after 11.1 overs.

8:55 pm: Abhishek Sharma is breathing fire on the pitch as he closes in on a maiden Asia Cup hundred. India 112/2 after 11 overs.

8:31 pm: Indian openers are on fire as they post 72/0 in the powerplay.

8:02 pm: Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill on the crease. Let's go!

7:31 pm: Bangladesh captain Jaker Ali wins the toss and elects to bat first.

The match is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM IST, while the toss will take place at 7:30 PM IST.
