4. T20 World Cup 2007

In the first-ever T20 World Cup final, India and Pakistan played a final over thriller at Johannesburg. Gautam Gambhir's 75(54) and Rohit Sharma's quick-fire 30*(16) took India to 157/5, while Umar Gul was Pakistan's best bowler with 3/28.

After India began the second inning defening the total with a few quick wickets, Pakistan approached the target steadily before Misbah-ul-Haq tried to lap Joginder Sharma with only 6 required off 4 balls.

Sreesanth's catch at the fine leg helped India to their first World Cup win since 2007. RP Singh and Irfan Pathan took 3/26 and 3/16 respectively in their quota of 4 overs each.

5. Champions Trophy 2017

Playing in his first major event, the young Fakhar Zaman took on the tournament favorites in the final and scored a match-winning 114(106), capitalizing on India's wasted chances.

Azhar Ali's 59(71) and Mohammad Hafeez's 57*(37) helped Zaman to take Pakistan to 338/4 in 50 overs before India's top-order collapse against Mohammad Amir took Pakistan to the driver's seat.

Hardik Pandya's 76(43) gave India a short-lived glimmer of hope as India was bundled for just 158 runs in 30.3 overs and Pakistan won by a margin of 180 runs.

Amir, with 3/16 (6.0), and Hasan Ali, with 3/19 (6.3), were the best Pakistan bowlers in London.
