The man from Gujarat has been the most integral part of the Indian setup and has played a major role in taking India to much greater heights in World Cricket. In a total of 14 games at the continental event, Bumrah has picked up 21 wickets.

Moreover, Bumrah has never gone wicketless in any encounter in the history of the tournament, which in itself is a unique feat for the master of the art.

Bumrah has already picked up 3 wickets in the first two games this edition. He bowled a superb spell against the UAE in India's season opener, picking up 2 wickets for 19 runs in his four overs.
He continued his good work against the arch-rivals Pakistan, bowling another good spell, where he clinched the important wicket of Mohammad Haris in his very first over.
India has already qualified for the Super Four stages and will now take on Oman in their final league encounter on Sept. 19. With a lot of games still to go in the tournament, India will hope for their star pacer to continue with his streak and pick up several more wickets, and help India to the title.
