The pacer recalled how the Prime Minister supported the Indian team not only when they celebrated success but also when they suffered heartbreak.

Siraj, in a video on social media, said that Modi ji stood with the team after the 2023 ODI World Cup final loss and later congratulated them warmly after the T20 World Cup triumph.
How did PM Modi support India after the 2023 ODI World Cup loss?
India had a painful night in November 2023 when Australia defeated them in the ODI World Cup final in Ahmedabad.
Siraj remembered that the players were heartbroken in the dressing room. That was when PM Modi himself came inside to speak with them.
According to Siraj, he gave words of comfort and asked the players not to lose hope. His visit, Siraj said, gave them strength during one of the lowest moments of their careers.

What did Siraj say about the T20 World Cup win?
A year later, the story was completely different. India won the T20 World Cup in Barbados, and once again, PM Modi reached out to the team.
This time, it was a phone call filled with joy and congratulations. Siraj recalled that the Prime Minister praised the team. That is why he chose to call PM Modi a “true inspiration.”
"A year later, when we won the T20 WC, he called to congratulate us. He stood by us in defeat & in victory- true inspiration," he added.
