Reflecting on the 4th day of the Old Trafford Test with Sky Sports' commentary panel, Nasser opened up about his conversation with Rahul during the Indian summer.
During his chat with Rahul, the Indian batter spoke about his 2021 series, he scored a century at Lord's and 315 runs in 4 matches.
He disclosed of a diary that he uses to note down the things that worked for him in the previous tours and areas that needed work.

“I spoke to him in India when I went out. He was doing his shoot with one of his sponsors. I asked, ‘When will you start preparing?’ He said, ‘I’m going to get my little book out.’”
“He’s a very good note-taker - he said he will look back at the notes he made on the previous tour of England and come early and just remind himself of what he did in the last tour when he had some success, and he has repeated it on this tour,” Nasser revealed.
In the ongoing series, Rahul is India's second-highest run-scorer with 508 runs already under his belt, averaging 72.57 for 2 centuries and 2 fifties.

With the batter unbeaten on 87 in India's pursuit of pulling off a draw from the jaws of defeat, the team and Indian fans would be expecting a big final-day performance from him.
If India manages to draw the Old Trafford Test, they can end up tying the series 2-2 at the Oval, which would be the second consecutive tied series for India in England.
