Rajasthan Royals (RR) have had a mixed bag of results in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season.
They have managed to win seven of their 14 matches and have 14 points in the league stage. Though they managed to defeat Punjab Kings by four wickets in their final league game of the season, their playoff chances are still in the air.
They have reached the playoffs five times in the past and are the inaugural champions of the IPL.

Will Rajasthan Royals make it to the IPL 2023 playoffs?
RR are currently on 14 points and have finished their league fixtures. They are tied on 14 points with RCB and MI with a NRR which is less than RCB's and much superior than MI's.
For RR to qualify, they must hope that MI loses their final game against SRH and RCB loses their final game against GT heavily. Only then will RCB's NRR drop below RR's and they can take that fourth spot.
To put it in a nutshell, RR needs all the following results to occur in order to qualify for the playoffs:
- KKR does not win by more than 103 runs against LSG
- SRH defeats Mumbai Indians
- RCB loses by more than 5 runs against GT
