The first India vs Pakistan game of the Asia Cup 2025 is over and the Men in Blue have emerged victorious comprehensively.
India outperformed their rivals in the bowling as well as the batting department as they registered a comfortable seven-wicket win in Dubai on Sunday and booked their berth in the last-four stage.
There was a lot of buzz around this clash, not just for cricketing reasons. The atmosphere was heated amid the tense political situation between the two nations and there were even calls for a boycott of the game from India.

PCB, since then, has raised the issue with ICC on the Code of Conduct and Spirit of Cricket grounds, while the Indian skipper dedicated the victory to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack in April and the soldiers of the Indian army.
