UEFA Champions League fixtures, results 2025/26: Schedule of matchdays, scores for UCL games this season

UEFA Champions League fixtures 2025/26: Schedule of matchdays

The league phase of the 2025/26 Champions League began in mid-September. Teams will play eight league-phase games hoping to put themselves in position to secure a knockout-stage place.

The top eight teams in the table will advance straight to the Round of 16, earning a bye through the playoff round. Teams finishing 9th-16th in the table will advance to the knockout-playoff round where they will be seeded in the draw, selected to face one of the clubs finishing 17th-24th in the table. Teams finishing 25th-36th will be eliminated from European competition, and are not eligible to drop to the Europa League or Conference League.

From there, the eight knockout-playoff round winners will advance to the Round of 16 where they will meet the eight direct qualifiers. At that point, the knockout bracket will be set by the final draw, and the remaining teams will contest the latter stages of the competition to determine the 2025/26 European champions!

League Phase

The Champions League League Phase draw took place on Thursday, August 28 to set the matchups for the entirety of the eight-game schedule.

However, the fixture list themselves are not known until they are released Saturday, with dates and kickoff times determined over the few days after the draw was completed. When those are released, this section will be updated.

All the below kickoff times are Central European Time (CET), which is six hours ahead of Eastern Time.

Knockout Playoff round

The knockout playoff draw will take place on January 30, 2026 at which point the seeded teams (clubs finishing 9-16 in the League Phase table) will each be drawn against one unseeded team (clubs finishing 17-24 in the League Phase table).

The Champions League knockout phase draw will take place February 27, 2026 and will set the bracket for the entire rest of the Champions League tournament. In this event, the Round of 16 matchups will be set, as will all the rest of the potential matchups for the quarterfinals, semifinals and final.
