As the tournament comes to its business end, RCB have a strong chance to finish among the top two teams on the points table, and a win against LSG would also seal their playoffs spot.

On the other hand, LSG will need a miraculous return to form and win matches by a huge margin to still have a chance of qualification in their first season under Rishabh Pant.

What happens if LSG wins against the RCB?

If Lucknow is able to win their match against RCB, they would only jump one place, to go past the Kolkata Knight Riders at 6th place and stay alive in the tournament.

LSG winning would not disrupt the table much, but it will still keep them in the race to the playoffs. They will have 2 matches remaining where they can potentially reach 16 points, something already achieved by 2 teams with PBKS at 15 as well.

What happens if RCB wins against the LSG?

If RCB win their match against LSG in Lucknow, they will go top of the table and confirm their position in the playoffs and strengthen their bid for a top-2 finish.

RCB going top of the table would get GT to number 2 with a game in hand, while PBKS will stay put and be in the race for the qualifier 1 finish.

What happens if LSG vs RCB ends in a tie or a No Result?

If the LSG vs RCB match ends in a tie with both teams scoring an equal number of runs, then the match would go into a super over as a tiebreaker.

If the super over is once again tied, the string of super overs would continue until we get a winner of the match.

On the other hand, in case of no result, due to rain/weather or any other circumstances, the two sides will share a point each and RCB will go to the top. On the other hand, LSG would stay at their position.
