Mumbai Indians (MI) host Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match 38 of the Indian Premier League 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium as the five-time champions look to make a comeback in the season.

On the other hand, bottom-placed CSK managed to win their last match against LSG at Lucknow, but they have not been as convincing yet.

But the big news in the Chennai camp this week has been the signing of South African sensation, Dewald Brevis who joins CSK as an injury replacement for Gurjapneet Singh.

Suryakumar Yadav supported the opening batter with an unbeaten 68 runs off 30 balls at a strike rate of 226.7 as MI inflicted CSK's sixth defeat of the season and a payback for their season opener defeat, in the revenge week game.

Meanwhile, things get tough for CSK as playoff dreams begins to slip away, with the team needing to win all games from now on, to keep their hopes alive.

Rohit is still going strong as he closes in on his first fifty of the season, while Rickleton was dismissed by Jadeja on the first ball he faced after the powerplay at 24(19).
