CSK were knocked out of this year's competition as the Punjab-based franchise emerged victorious by 4 wickets, handing Chennai their 8th defeat of the season.
Put to bat first, Chennai once looked set to cross the 200-run mark, but a hat-trick from Yuzvendra Chahal in the 19th over turned things around for PBKS as the Men in Yellow had to settle for just 190 runs.
Punjab chased the score with two balls to spare, thanks to brilliant half-centuries from Prabhsimran Singh and skipper Shreyas Iyer.
Meanwhile, Jadeja did something in the game which caught the eyes of fans and experts alike.
