The fast bowler, known for his fiery spells on the field, decided to entertain off it by mimicking the batting stance of veteran South African star Faf du Plessis. It all happened during the training session ahead of their IPL 2025 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Siraj was spotted behind the nets copying Faf’s unique movements while he was batting. The clip, shared by Gujarat Titans on their social media handle, quickly grabbed fans' attention for all the right reasons.

How did Gujarat Titans react to the mimicry?

GT’s official X account added a fun caption to the video that read, “Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the Faf-est of them all?” The short clip had fans laughing alike as Siraj nailed Faf’s style with surprising accuracy.

It was a refreshing break from the usual intensity of pre-match drills. Siraj, often animated on the field, showed his lighter side.

Siraj has quietly become one of the key figures for GT this season. With 15 wickets from 11 matches, he’s the second-highest wicket-taker for the franchise so far. His bowling average stands at 24.60 with an economy rate of 9.00.
