Let's take a look at what he had to say.

What did Vaibhav Suryavanshi say about his parents?

After making history, Vaibhav said in a heavy voice, "I am who I am today because of my parents."

He told how his mother wakes up at 2 AM every day just to make food for him. Even though she only sleeps for 3 hours, she never complains because she just wants to see him succeed.

Vaibhav also shared that his father even left his job to fully support his cricket. The family's financial situation became tough, but still, his elder brother started working to keep things running.

"It's been very difficult to run the household... but my father always used to say – 'You will do it, you will make it,'" Vaibhav said.

How did Vaibhav's IPL journey start?

Vaibhav spoke about his early days too. He said that during trials, he played really well and that caught the eyes of important people from RR management.

"When I got into the team, the first call I received was from Romi Sir.." he said. Talking about meeting Rahul Dravid, Vaibhav said it felt like a dream: "Speaking with Rahul Dravid Sir, training under him, for a normal cricketer, it's nothing short of a dream," he shared.

Even with all the big players and big crowds, Vaibhav said he just tries to stay calm. He shared, "The seniors always say positive things to me... I just try to go out on the field and play my game."

When he hit a six on the first ball he faced, it was not because of overconfidence. It was pure instinct. "The ball came into my radar, and I hit it. There was no pressure of it being the first ball. I just thought of playing my game," he added.

What's next for Vaibhav Suryavanshi?

For someone who wasn't even born when Yusuf Pathan hit his record century and is now breaking that same record, Suryavanshi's story shows that dreams stitched with sacrifice can fly high.

Even after such a crazy achievement, Vaibhav is not relaxing. His dream is even bigger. He said, "I have to go even further... I want to do something for my country. Until I reach that level, the hard work will continue."
