One of the most compelling matchups of Week 4 of the NFL season sees Micah Parsons go up against his former team when the Green Bay Packers visit the Dallas Cowboys.

Parsons will go against Dallas a month to the day of his blockbuster trade from the Cowboys to the Packers when the two meet on Sunday.

The four-time Pro Bowl pass rusher has said that will be painful to hit Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott should he get the chance to do so. However, another player involved in the trade does not feel the same way about his former quarterback.

Parsons was acquired by the Packers in exchange for two first-round picks and veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark.

And, asked about hitting Packers quarterback Jordan Love, Clark gave a very different answer to Parsons.

Clark excited to hit Love

Clark played with the Packers for nine seasons after being drafted by Green Bay in 2016.

As such, he conceded to mixed emotions about facing the Packers, but made his feelings clear about the opportunity to tackle Love, with whom he played for six years.

"When you’ve been somewhere for nine years, it’s hard to not have those emotions, but it’s another game,” Clark said.

"It’s another game, at the end of the day. I’m definitely going to be amped up. I’m going to be ready to go, and prepare to do everything I’ve got to do in order to help my team win but, at the end of the day, yeah, we’re trying to get a win.

"You get to hit now. I’m excited, bro. I’m excited.

"It’s been a long time coming, and it’s definitely something I’ve been thinking about since I got traded here. I’m excited to go."

The Cowboys are 1-2 following a blowout loss to the Chicago Bears last week, while the Packers fell to 2-1 with a shock defeat to the Cleveland Browns.

Clark may have to temper his excitement given how the Cowboys have struggled on defense this season. They have allowed the most passing yards in the NFL (864), while only the Bears (6.7) have given up more yards per play than the Cowboys (6.5). If that trend continues, Clark's chances to sack Love may be few and far between.
