French Open 2025 men's singles betting: Latest tips, predictions, odds & ATP world rankings for Alcaraz, Sinner, Djokovic and others image

The 2025 French Open begins on Sunday, and the betting favorites entering the weekend are reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz and ATP world No. 1 Jannik Sinner.

However, Novak Djokovic has three French Open titles — the most recent coming two years ago — and he always seems to make noise at grand slam events. Djoker leads a lengthy list of players who could emerge victorious at Roland Garros.

Nobody would argue that Sinner and Alcaraz belong anywhere but the top of the world rankings. At 23 and 22 years old, the Italian and Spaniard have displayed pure dominance the entire season.

Sinner is 12-1, and he took down his second consecutive Australian Open in impressive fashion in January. Alcaraz is 30-5, and he's already accumulated close to $4 million in prize money this season.

Sinner also has a US Open title on top of his two Australian Open wins, but he's hunting his first victory at Roland Garros. He lost to Alcaraz in an epic five-set semi-final in last year's French Open, a defeat he will surely hope to avenge this time around.

Alcaraz has four grand slam wins, having won last year's Wimbledon in addition to Roland Garros. He has one major title for every year since he won the 2022 US Open at 22, having become the second-youngest grand slam champion in history. The youngest? Rafael Nadal at the 2005 French Open.

Sinner and Alcaraz might be the odds-on favorites, but they are no sure bets, though. They will both face plenty of fierce competition the later they get into the tournament, which will last a full two weeks between the start of the first round and the final.

In addition to Djokovic, German Alexander Zverev enters in fine form, as do Italy's Lorenzo Musetti, Norway's Casper Ruud and the U.K.'s Jack Draper. All have a legitimate chance of winning the final on June 8, as evidenced by their odds of 33/1 or shorter.

There are, of course, plenty of other names in the field, with 21 different players entering the weekend at 100/1 or shorter. Let's get to the ATP World Rankings and list each contender's starting odds to win the 2025 French Open.
