French Open 2025 women's singles betting: Latest tips, predictions, odds & WTA world rankings for Sabalenka, Gauff, Swiatek and others image

The 2025 French Open begins this weekend, and the betting favourites for the women's singles tournament are Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek.

Sabalenka sits atop the WTA world rankings, a clear-cut No. 1. She leads American Coco Gauff — the next-closest on the list — by a whopping 3,820 points. She also enters the Paris tournament as the short-priced favourite to win, at 9/4.

The Belarus native has been on a tear this season, going 34-6 in singles matches and taking down three titles. She also has three grand slam titles in the past two-and-a-half years. To earn a place in her first French Open final, however, she will more than likely need to get past Swiatek (11/8).

That will be no easy feat. Swiatek, nicknamed the "Queen of Clay" for her commanding success at Roland Garros and other clay-surfaced venues, still feels like the woman to beat. At just 23, she has an incredible five Grand Slam titles — one US Open (2022) and four French Opens (2020, 2022-2024).

Of course, this tournament will be far from a two-woman race. Gauff, at 5/1, sits second in the world rankings and third on the French Open futures board. Mirra Andreeva, the ATP world No. 6, comes in right behind Gauff at 6/1. Seven other players have shorter than 30/1 odds to win it all.

It's a deep playing field, with 34 players listed at 100/1 or shorter on the betway outright odds board. Reading the WTA world rankings can help us pin-point which players have been in the best form entering the tournament, and which ones might be best fading on the betting market.

Let's get to the WTA world rankings and list each contender's starting odds to win the 2025 French Open women's singles tournament.
