Strictly Odds: The favourite to win the Glitterball trophy before Saturday's first live show image

The BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing is one of the biggest reality shows on TV.

Blind comedian Chris McCausland won the competition last year, alongside partner Dianne Buswell. Having learned the pairings in last week's launch show, we are now waiting to see their first performances on Saturday 27 September.

Looking at the latest bookmaker odds for Strictly Come Dancing 2025. Thomas Skinner remains a big drifter in the market as controversy in his private life threatens to derail his Strictly campaign before it's even started - he's now 50/1 on bet365 having started last week at 16/1. Former England rugby star Chris Robshaw has also been on the slide and now finds himself joint bottom of the odds grid at 125/1.

Moving the other way, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey has come in from 22/1 last week to 9/1 on BetVictor, while the big favourite has been stable or over a week now. Let's find out who that is.

Who is the favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing 2025?

The favourite for this year's competition is 30-year-old Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope. Cope is actually a late replacement for the show, filling in for Game of Thrones star Kristian Nair, who had to pull out due to health reasons back in August.

Former Chelsea football star Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (40/1 with some bookmakers) is viewed as one of the most unlikely winners, whilst 63-year-old TV presenter Ross King is now a match for Robshaw as the biggest outsider - both can be backed at a huge 125/1 to win the show.

One of the biggest market drifters is former Apprentice contestant Thomas Skinner, whose popularity with punters could well be affected by the allegations made about his private life.

When does Strictly start?

Strictly Come Dancing runs through the autumn and up towards Christmas on the BBC. There are 13 weeks, with the launch show taking place on Saturday 20 September. The couples dance live for the first time on Saturday 27 September and the final is scheduled for Sunday 14 December.
